It boggles my mind only 6 months after its release this developer has turned this game completely toxic, retconned the original story, and turned off any fans of it. At its core Nikki was a non predatory gacha game but yeah those times are already over. I really liked the 3D Platformer open world vibe the game had going on but now I don't think I'll be able to platinum it.

I think it definitely is worth the attempt on my part to get close as I still enjoy many of the core sandbox platformer elements left in. I just won't pay money on this game so if I get walled I'm out.

Also the new intro is weird. The original intro was a mixture of Nikki being called/falling into this world in need of help, gaining powers thru clothing to basically rise up as this worlds 'fashion hero' all while Nikki finding she has strange ties to this world already. The new plot is Nikki is some goddess lesbian who fell from the end of space and time off her magical dolphin and now is just kinda here. What the fuck?
