I really have enjoyed watching people like authorblues play this game on twitch but man what an incredibly hard roguelite this is. The concept is simple, get 16 stars and then go thru all 3 Bowser stages as a gauntlet. The issue is you have a deck of cards and all of your abilities are tied to it. Your jump card starts with 3 uses, that's it. You can max it to 6 but if you don't acquire more jumps or kinds of jumps (triple, flips, beta jumps, super jumps, etc), your jumping days are over.

The game has plenty of wacky cards too, like instantly being in a cannon or randomly exploding. My favorite weird card is getting an air dash as you summon the dolphin from Guilty Gear. I have finished a run as Mario and that was pretty intense. After you get Luigi (fun luigi physics), Toad (fast and short hops), and Peach (floats) unlocked. There are a ton more decks too but I don't think my play level is that high.
