Miitopia (Switch)
I really had forgotten you only control your main character in this. The strategy of later battles started flashing back to me as 'pray'. The game can be quite humorous at times, I still think they did a disservice not supporting a way to upload miis to a big database. The Miis are mostly a time period stopped with nothing past really 2018, to put that in perspective a common popular culture character everybody knows now like Thanos is just non-existent here.

Still on Chapter 1 but have now reached the castle part of the game. I also encountered the first big new aspect of the game...we get a horse into the party. I just wasn't expecting this and now look forward to any other small additions to the game.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (Switch)

In a two hour session of this game I only managed to solve the floor puzzle in one single room and then get my ass kicked by the chapter's end boss. Actually I had him pretty well in hand until he dropped 9000 damage on me in one turn.

There was also this little moment that almost gave the main character of this game a pulse. I don't think it will last but it was such an out of left field character moment 40 hours in.
