Recap: The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2025
With the abundance of indie from that four hour showcase there was some repeats here. Still some really good titles to look forward too, I've highlighted the ones that popped out to me.
Note: Games may have other versions than just PC but the trailer in this particular show didn't indicate
Dead Finger Dice (PC)

What if Yahtzee had a baby with Inscryption and had the look of Obra Dinn. A roguelite with adventure elements and a focus on one of my favorite classic board games? Sold.

Neon Inferno (Everything)

Ever play Wild Guns on SNES? That was a shooting gallery esque game but you still controlled your characters dodging bullets in the foreground. This is along the same line as that but set in a cyberpunk setting. The twist is some stages also are straight up Contra, 16 bit era fans will eat good here.

Elusive (Everything)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3519500/Elusive/
Hone I shrunk the metroidvania! This tiny themed game has you explore and escape the house you are in while fending off common giant birds and the house cat.

Little Nemo and The Guardians of Slumberland (Everything)

Just purely beautiful in motion. This metroidvania is based on THAT Little Nemo ip and really looks like it will please any fan of the genre. Seriously watch this trailer.

Captain Wayne: Vacation Desperation (PC)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2319790/Captain_Wayne__Vacation_Desperation/
What if Pizza Tower's graphics took on Doom with all of the comedy and timing? They don't make many Doom clones these days and this one definitely stands out

Shrine's Legacy (PC)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1435410/Shrines_Legacy/
Ever play Terranigma on SNES? This game really channels the vibe of that action rpg classic here. It all depends how good that battle system is here in action.
